GHG Management Policy

The policy established for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport states the importance of maintaining and decreasing the CO2 emission with the objectives given below:


  • Increase the energy efficiency without any change in passenger comfort
  • Define a target to decrease the energy consumption per passenger
  • Initiate to research on the use of renewable energy sources
  • Comply with relevant legislation and regulations related to energy management
  • Responsibly manage natural resources
  • Preventing excessive energy usage by using best available technologies and effective management activities.
  • Promoting discussions among all employee about energy management
  • Training, supporting and motivating employees and business partners to be aware of and meet their responsibilities about efficient energy usage
  • Continuously measures, monitor report and improve the performance of energy management

The distance between the Domestic and International Terminals at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is approximately 5 minutes on foot. By using the travelators, going to the Domestic and International Terminals is very easy. Click here for the map.
The Departure Fee Stamp from the Ministry of Finance can be obtained from the desk next to the Information Desk on the Departures Floor of the International Terminal.

Note: Departure Fee Stamp payment should be made before passport control.

The Tax-Free Office is located at the International Terminal. You should go there to complete the required procedures. After you are finished there, you can obtain a refund from the Tax-Free Office desk next to the Information Desk.
The TAV Lost and Found Office is at the International Terminal and is open 24/7.
