Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport welcomes Transavia's first Paris flight

Direct flights have started between İzmir Adnan Menderes and Paris-Orly airports.The first plane of Transavia, which arrived from Paris-Orly, was welcomed with a ceremony.

The direct flight network of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, operated by TAV Airports, a member of Groupe ADP, continues to expand in international destinations. Transavia has started operating direct flights between İzmir and Paris-Orly airports. The flight, numbered TO3268 and operated by a Boeing B737-800 aircraft, carried 142 passengers to İzmir, where they were welcomed with flowers at the terminal. Transavia will continue to operate reciprocal flights between Paris Orly and İzmir Adnan Menderes airports every Saturday and Sunday until October 28, 2023.

TAV Ege General Manager Erkan Balcı said, "We are delighted to welcome the first direct flight from Paris-Orly to İzmir after five years. We are working together with our stakeholders to connect İzmir with the world through direct flights."

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport served 1,942,518 passengers in the first three months of the year. The airport offers flights to 39 destinations in 22 countries with 19 airlines on international routes and 20 destinations in Türkiye with four airlines on domestic routes.
