The two airports, together with Ankara Esenboga, Tbilisi, Zagreb, and Madinah airports, also received their awards in the "best hygiene practices" category introduced after the pandemic. The awards, determined by passenger reviews by ACI World, were handed over to their respectful owners at the ceremony during the ACI Customer Experience Global Summit held in Krakow this year.

TAV Airports Holding Chief Executive Officer Serkan Kaptan said, “We strive to provide a good travel experience at every airport where we operate, considering the needs and expectations of our passengers. We are pleased to be on the ASQ list with our six airports, based on directly passenger reviews. We offer our passengers an increasingly personalized airport experience with advanced digitalization and smart airport practices that improved greatly with the demands of the pandemic for the upcoming period. On top of that, our employees are at the center of the passenger satisfaction. I would like to thank all TAV employees who contributed to this success.”

As part of the ASQ program, which offers ACI member airports the tools to measure and improve passenger satisfaction, business performance, and airport service quality, the survey was conducted with more than 370,000 passengers in 2021. ACI World represents 1950 airports in 185 countries.
