Direct flights from Izmir to Kiev-Ukraine launched

 

Operated by TAV Airports, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport welcomed the first Kiev flight of Bravo Airways, which was launched with the collaboration of Ukraine Tour Operator TPG Tour and Peninsula Tour. The first flight, which landed at Adnan Menderes Airport on 7:40 AM on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 with its 172 passengers and cabin crew, was welcomed by the airport officials with water arches on the apron.

TAV Ege General Manager Erkan Balcı stated: “Being amongst the most significant tourism and trade cities of the country, Izmir opens its gates to the world with the new destinations included to our flight network. Today, we are connected to 22 domestic destinations as well as 50 international destinations at 23 countries with direct flights performed from Adnan Menderes Airport. We are glad that Izmir-Kiev flights are launched".

Planned by Ukraine Tour Operator TPG Tour and Peninsula Tour, the reciprocal flights will be performed every Wednesday by Bravo Airways. Adnan Menderes Airport provided services to almost 3.7 million passengers in 2017 by achieving an increase of 1 percent compared to 2016. The airport also hosted 24,000 flights at the same period by an increase of 2 percent.
